Collision of two structures – city block and park of the Sveti Sava temple.
Park- “big yard” penetrates blocks atrium-  “ small yard”  through a crack. The crack- “fluid space” serves as a filter for light, sound, wind, people displaying the potential of unbuilt (not yet occupied by built structures) space letting the park flow into the atrium.
Structure of the building is defined by two volumes- a logical extension of the block, intended for retail.
“Fluid space” between volumes contains horizontal and vertical communications and exhibition hall.
Oval form can be interpreted two ways- at the same time it structurally belongs to “fluid space” but functionally, it belongs to retail, so it makes a connection between forms and functions.
Orange oval form was conceived with the idea that oval form doesn’t just remain a negative to the strong geometry behind it. By creating a soft transition between forms, it actually becomes a dominant element corresponding with the elements of the temple. This way, a simple primary form connects with the city block and oval shapes connect with the temple and its park.
